Dr.Gafford always knew she wanted to be in a health related field but not until after going through orthodontic treatment for the second time did dentistry catch her interest. She says it was the demeanor of her dentist and the camaraderie of his entire office as well as the craft and skill involved that allowed dentistry to emerge as the career path she would take.
She prides herself on striving to provide the most conservative dental solutions wherever possible from the simplest to even more complex cases.
She believes that the patient's knowledge of the procedure and their input throughout the duration of treatment is critical to its success and therefore spends appropriate time with each patient to ensure that they are well informed. Working within all ranges of patients' budgets is a key factor. "I try to make sure all options are presented to the patient then we can work together on the option that best suit their particular circumstances."
Dr. Gafford is married and lives in Irondale with her husband, Cris Jones, and has one dog. She enjoys boating, photography, gardening, and University of Alabama Football.
